TOOWOOMBA, QLD, AUSTRALIA (25 February, 2025) – Elemental Enzymes has partnered with Australian crop nutrition company Tanuki to support the supply and development of its enzyme technologies for the Australian market.
The partnership combines Elemental Enzymes’ global reputation for innovation with Tanuki’s expertise in distribution and formulation. Together, they will expand access to two flagship products – Lumen® and Magno® – for broadacre and horticulture growers across Australia. In addition to supplying these core enzyme products, Tanuki will introduce integrated formulations that pair enzyme technology with complementary crop nutrition inputs, such as Lumen Z, which combines Lumen enzyme technology with zinc for in-furrow applications.
Enzymes play a critical role in soil nutrient cycling by catalysing reactions that make nutrients available within the root zone. Elemental Enzymes’ technology delivers specific enzymes directly to the soil. Unlike living organisms, enzymes speed up chemical reactions in the soil that benefit the plant exactly where they are placed, without needing to remain alive or rely on variable microbial populations.
Products supplied by Tanuki are designed for in-furrow or fertiliser-integrated applications, ensuring Elemental Enzymes products are positioned close to developing root systems for maximum effectiveness.
