About the Opportunity
To support Tanuki’s expanding operations and product portfolio, we are looking for an agribusiness sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building strong customer relationships and looking for the next opportunity. This role will encompass developing our horticulture and broadacre business in Southern Australia and require extensive travel to meet with existing and potential customers and participate in industry events.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing and growing horticulture sales in Southern Australia

Upholding Tanuki’s purpose to provide quality products to our customers efficiently, responsibly and cost-effectively

Building and managing relationships with customers
-
Forecasting and developing and implementing sales plans
-
Keeping up-to-date with competitor activities, market trends and industry news
-
Working closely with the marketing team on marketing programs and activities
-
Representing Tanuki at industry events and conferences
-
Using your insights from the field to identify new business opportunities
About You
-
Strong sales track record in the agribusiness industry
-
A bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Environmental Science (desirable)
-
A self-starter who is happy to work remotely
-
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
-
Well organised with high levels of professionalism and integrity
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and customer database and forecasting tools
-
Ability to travel frequently, both within the territory and to Tanuki’s sites
-
Clean, current drivers’ licence

About the Opportunity
To support Tanuki and our joint venture partners to grow and strengthen our market position domestically and internationally, we are looking for an experienced Marketing & Events Coordinator who thrives on variety, rigorous brand representation and has a passion for agriculture and sustainability. This role will be based at our Sunshine Coast facility and require some domestic travel.
Key responsibilities include:

Designing, implementing and evaluating multi-channel marketing campaigns
-
Creating a wide range of marketing content and promotional materials including newsletters, ads, social media, video, banners and brochures
-
Creating corporate documents including capability statements, presentations and reports
-
Coordinating participation in domestic and international trade shows, field days and events
-
Managing industry memberships and partnerships including delivery of benefits
-
Seeking opportunities to amplify company profiles and reach new audiences
-
Assisting with the development of marketing plans and strategies
-
Assisting with website management and maintenance
About You
-
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing roles
-
Ability to interpret and communicate marketing data
-
A passion for agriculture and industry experience preferred
-
Strong graphic design skills and experience using digital creative suites such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
-
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
-
A positive team player with the ability to influence others

Strong initiative and a learning mindset

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
